My boys... there’s so much I wanted to say in our last moments together but I got choked up and nothing was coming out, my heart was breaking right in front of you. I felt like I was saying goodbye to my own children. I loved both you boys as if you were my own, I treated you as if you were my sons and maybe that’s why I was sometimes a little too hard on you. I want you to be better than I ever was, I hope that all the values and knowledge I instilled in you stays with you forever. You both are really good kids and I want to see you reach your full potential. You made me so mad at times, made me think about re-matching to find an easier family but at the end of the day you helped me become a better man. We also had amazing times and experiences together. We. We traveled the world together, from flying in helicopters in Monte Carlo to having hot chocolate in Denmark. These are memories I’ll treasure forever. I couldn’t have asked for better host kids and I wish you all the best in everything that you do. I hope that one day I get to see you again and eventually get the chance to introduce you to my own own children. I want you to know that I’ll always be there for you, if not in person then in your hearts. You were the best thing to have happened to me and I’m honored that that you chose me to be your au pair.
